在私立不动高中， detective prodigy Kintarou Sengokubara (interpreted by Shoutarou Mamiya) and his childhood friend Haruka Nanase (portrayed by Akari Hayami) are both members of the school's detective club. Haruka, a genius in academics and arts, has kindled Kintarou's heart. Their carefree youth days are filled with joy and no worries. One day, Haruka is recruited by famous director Ryohei Sugikaze for his film studio to act in a movie, unbeknownst to them, a series of complex murder cases haunt the set. Detective Inspector Tetsuya Saitou (portrayed by Hiroshi Izawa) and his new partner join the investigation, while Kintarou uses his intricate deductive reasoning to uncover the culprit. After the film studio disbands and the detective club expands, laughter echoes through the halls of the newly enlarged investigation team. However, more elaborate murder mysteries are soon presented to Kintarou and his friends...
