闪躲警察之路的冷静、精明 Detective A-Hai (played by Liu Qingyun) is a master of his craft, but his personal life with his wife (portrayed by Li Ruopu) has reached the brink of collapse. Plagued by marital discord and allegations of infidelity, they are on the verge of ending their union. In the heat of a gunfight, A-Hai is shot in the head, leaving him bereft of his sense of taste. Despite their tumultuous past, his wife stands by him during his recovery, leading to a slow healing of their relationship.
To everyone's surprise, the criminal (the villain) manages to escape and takes A-Hai's wife hostage, demanding that he appear in exchange for her safety.
