在《谷田部勇者三部作》之一中，我们陪伴一个名为高杉星史的年轻少年，他 disguised as a puppeteer, embarks on a journey with eight other dormant heroes to save Earth. The story unfolds nine years prior to the era of the "Sun Hero." The narrative primarily revolves around the emotional rollercoaster of High Saito Starshi as he secretly protects our planet. Mechanically, this tale introduces unique concepts such as the first integrated train-like form for main character Taitan X and the debut of the ninth hero, "Sevenfold Transformation Body," who stands out as the first non-integrated hero and also the first character to die without any chance of resurrection. In this captivating storyline, an extraterrestrial invasion threatens Earth, seeking the vital "stellar energy" to power their conquest. The invading force, "Obasu," targets critical points on Earth and collects stellar energy at a "liberation point" before launching catastrophic attacks. A fifth-grader at a Japanese seaside elementary school, Starshi High Saito, is summoned by Earth's essence to become the commander of its earthly heroes. His emblem of command, the "Control Device," serves as proof of his leadership among the Earth warriors. The Control Device sends out a call, merging a treasure from the temple's Buddha statue—the Warrior Stone—with a surveillance car to create a robot known in legend as Taitan, marking the beginning of our planet's lengthy defense against the invaders.
