在《大江东去》最后的剧情 scenes 中, titled "Chase", was successfully filmed on May 10th at Chessboard Mountain, Shenyang. This captivating scene narrates the desperate escape of the crime boss Lu Tianyu, who realizes his impending arrest, leading to a night of despair. In this thrilling pursuit, many of the "police" were actual combatants, while the majority were civilians dressed in vibrant costumes. These colorful costumes represented individuals from diverse backgrounds, including former military personnel, factory workers, and enthusiastic university students seeking life experiences.
The scene required almost a hundred props guns, which posed quite a challenge for the production team. With only two days left until filming, they were missing essential props – firearms, as public safety regulations prohibited their borrowing or use in the film. In a crunch, the filmmakers of《大江东去》 entrusted the task of procuring prop guns to Deputy Director Gu Liyun.
Considering that many of the prop guns from various teams were outdated, Gu Liyun ventured into Shenyang's wholesale market to source new ones. Due to regulations, such replicas were not readily available. It took a considerable effort to find vendors selling these props. Gu Liyun recalls with amusement, "In the movie, nearly a hundred suspects wielded toy guns, but Lu Tianyu, the crime boss, used a real one."
