2023年 autumn, the 16th "Hanyu Qiao" World High School Chinese Contest and the 3rd "Hanyu Qiao" World Primary School Chinese Showcase will take place in Beijing and Yunnan. After a three-year hiatus, this is the first time the World High School Chinese Contest returns to offline competition, while the World Primary School Chinese Showcase will be held for the first time offline. The 2023 "Hanyu Qiao" has shifted away from traditional competitions of Chinese language masters and now emphasizes cultural immersion, interaction, experience, and fun in its content design. Innovatively combining "study tours + language and culture examinations + interactive experiences," participants will immerse themselves in the vibrant and colorful ethnic and geographical cultures of China, as they learn while competing. This event promises to showcase China's rich traditional culture, infused with contemporary Chinese themes, aiming to provide a dynamic and comprehensive portrait of modern China. Roughly 200 students from over 90 countries are expected to gather in China, sharing their experiences, appreciating the achievements of Chinese development, and sensing the unique charm of China.
