1970s Hong Kong, corruption and organized crime thrived. This was the golden era of Chen Hua (portrayed by Liu Qingyun), Lee Kwok (portrayed by Lin Gaje), Cat Zhang (portrayed by Zhang Jin) and their brotherhood.
Chen Hua, revered as the 'Treasured Protector of Siufu Mountain,' was at the peak of his power and influence. He also met his one true love, Yun Li (portrayed by Jiang Yiyan). However, fate was cruel; Chen Hua's criminal past caught up with him, and he was targeted by the triad. With help from undercover officer Harley (played by Gutaile), Chen Hua narrowly escaped death but couldn't evade the long arm of the law.
Upon release from prison, Chen Hua found his father had passed away and Yun Li was missing. Ridden with guilt, he resolved to atone for his past mistakes. He dedicated himself to anti-drug campaigns, earning a spot on the list of Ten Outstanding Young Persons. He also guided Lee Kwok and Cat Zhang back onto the right path and often intervened in gang feuds, earning respect from both sides.
One day, after speaking at an anti-drug conference in Japan, Chen Hua bumped into Yun Li on the street. Determined to rekindle their relationship, he faced a difficult choice between love and the past. Would he find a way to disarm his own emotional bombshell?
