After defeating Houqi, Tcha Chu resolves to uncover the truth behind this mystery.
She tracks down Houqi and discovers he has been killed by a woman known as the Snake Maiden. The Snake Maiden later meets her own demise at the hands of Muzong Qingcheng. With the help of Tuliupi's sister, Li Ruyu, Tcha Chu learns that Lin Xiuyu is actually his wife, suffering from a mysterious illness. This disease does not affect her directly, but anyone she becomes intimate with will be cursed with this incurable affliction, leading to their destruction.
Accompanied by Li Ruyu, Tcha Chu confronts Muzong Qingcheng, who unleashes two Bosse iron-clad warriors against Lin Xiuyu. Meanwhile, he lures Tcha Chu into a secret room where he confesses to being the brother of the sorceress Wohua, who had been previously defeated by Tcha Chu. He had set this trap in an attempt to take revenge using Lin Xiuyu as his weapon. In a fierce battle, both the Bosse warriors and Lin Xiuyu perish, with Muzong Qingcheng eventually succumbing to Tcha Chu as well.
Devastated by her role in these tragic events, Lin Xiuyu takes her own life amidst a garden of beautiful flowers. The story serves as a poignant reminder of the consequences of love and the power it holds over our actions.
