The 123 train in the tunnel speeds along, with many passengers and police officers losing their lives, while the driver is taken hostage and the remaining passengers face imminent danger. After being accused of job negligence and dismissed from work, Wote is targeted by Reed, forcing him to participate in negotiations. When faced with allegations of corruption, he manages to save a young passenger's life by confessing truthfully. When confronted with the high ransom demand and stringent conditions set by the kidnappers, New York City's mayor is at a loss, preparing to make the payment to resolve the crisis. Just as the money transfer is about to be made, the unstable kidnappers suddenly change their mind. As an employee of the High-Speed Transportation Administration, Wote decides to take the place of the hostage and engages in a heart-stopping struggle for survival with the kidnappers...
