在年代风华之余的尾道,四位青春未逾成年的人物无目的地漫步,吸 cigarette、跳舞、游泳,陪伴着奔腾的音乐,沉淀了无数的回忆。
Summer of 1970, heated by both the sun and the anti-American sentiment, a secret romance began to bloom. The ocean turned azure, mirroring a love story untouched by blessings.
This debut film by the young actor Wakui Rei showcases stunning cinematography language. Reminiscent of Daito Shunji's "Transfer Student" and Murakami Ryu's "Underground", it combines nostalgic atmosphere of student life with the romantic haze of Tanizaki Jun'ichiro's novels, adding to it the extravagant freedom seen in Takeshi Koizumi's "Tokyo Drift" and "Not Quite Dame-Dadi". All this is beautifully accompanied by music composed by Ryo Nagano. The result is a tantalizing blend of sweetness and forbidden desires, creating an enchanting visual ambiance.
