在一晚风雨中，神秘人马上追逐向下田村， villages soon fall victim to a mysterious plague, claiming every resident. At the urging of Lord Mugen (voiced by Hiroshi Mikami), a group of Ninja investigate the outbreak. Along the way, they are ambushed by a formidable warrior, Yang Fiery only escaping with the help of a mysterious stranger - Kiba Inuyasha (voiced by Toshihide Tsuchiya). The stranger soon finds himself in a deadly battle with the warrior, emerging victorious. A self-proclaimed righteous elder named Zobio (voiced by Tatsuya Nakadai) then appears before Kiba, revealing that the slain warrior was one of the Eight Demon Generals under the command of their enemy's general. Zobio has been tracking them, and though many of his companions have met their ends, he is the last to remain. Using trickery and deceit, Zobio offers Kiba a bribe to aid him in uncovering the truth, promising that the head of the slain warrior - the demon general Iceman (voiced by Kouji Yusa) - has already been claimed by Kiba's own hand. But can the dead truly rise again? In confronting the Eight Demon Generals, Yang Fiery once more saves Kiba, but claims it as a repayment of a debt. Is this truly the whole story...?
