1929年，爱知自动织布厂的常务愛知佐一郎（饰：佐藤浩市、桥爪功、吉田荣作等） inherited his father's passion for invention and vowed to create Japan's own cars. Defying the expectations of his predecessors, such as Stone Mountain Yetz (饰：石山又造), he covertly gathered a team of idealistic and passionate workers, including North River (饰：北川) and Field (饰：太田). With grit and determination, they surmounted technical hurdle after hurdle, gaining the approval of their elders.
As more business elites joined his side, our dreamer mapped out plans that defied conventional wisdom. Yet, as a pioneer, he bore the brunt of the pressure and challenges. The Great Depression, GHQ occupation, economic downturn, labor strikes – these were just some of the obstacles faced by the Love-Car team. They persevered, determined to see their automobile zoom down America's highways. This film is inspired by the true story of Toyota's founding.
