However, the implementation of village policies stirred up dissatisfaction among the villagers. In search of alternative income sources, Sun Hou-ren discovers a hot spring in Yang Family Village and envisions constructing an eco-friendly spa resort.
However, attracting investors for this ambitious project proved challenging. An audacious idea dawns upon Sun Hou-ren – relocation. Yet, the villagers were skeptical, making the task even more difficult.
When the villagers finally relocate to their new homes, construction of the first phase of the English Spring Spa Hotel begins. Suddenly, funding stops, causing chaos among the villagers. Town mayor Tian San-yi stays put in the village, while Sun Hou-ren travels far and wide seeking funds. Eventually, with the help of the county government, he manages to secure a loan, ensuring the continuation of funding. The English Spring Spa Hotel is completed, and the news spreads that Sun Hou-ren has been selected as the "Most Beautiful Village Official," earning him a trip to Beijing for an award ceremony.
