两位同志和好朋友阿黄（王貽興饰演）和Sunny（劉翁飾饰演），过去 respectively 是摄影师和作家，但随着社会的变化而降临生活的危机中，在中年时候, they suddenly recalled their forgotten dreams from many years ago. Sunny longed to become a director, while A-Huang's dream was to be a scriptwriter. They worked hard on planning a one-of-a-kind bridge - using today's popular VR virtual technology to produce the first Asian ghost movie. Unfortunately, they encountered rejection after rejection from producers or investors who showed little interest in their screenplay.
Despite repeated setbacks, there was one venture capitalist who saw potential in VR technology - a concept that gradually took root in their minds. Their dreams drifted away, and with mounting pressures of life, Sunny's uncle developed mental illness, constantly imagining his deceased wife returning to him. Every day at exactly 8:01 PM, he would go mad, reenacting the tragic events of that day when his wife jumped from a building.
Inspired by this predicament, they decided to develop an exorcism and ghost-hunting VR App, which could potentially bring hope to many. They started using this app to attract attention, trick, and deceive people, helping many solve their hidden emotional struggles......
