Peter turned to his old friend Nicola for help, who proposed a deal: he would provide the necessary funds, but in exchange, Peter was to leave immediately, travel to an island just three hours away by car, and retrieve some drugs from some of Nicola's business associates. The transaction had to be made using a "clean" boat, and Peter's boat happened to fit the bill.
Peter agreed, embarking on a wild sea adventure that ended in a miraculous survival the next morning.
