The next day, his father resolves to climb the sand dune for an investigation but returns cold and hostile, a stark contrast from the friendly man he once was. The transformation doesn't stop there as David's mother starts exhibiting similar changes.
Swamped with confusion, young David slowly uncovers the shocking truth: alien beings have abducted the town's residents, implanting mind-controlling devices on their necks. Despite his desperate attempts to reveal this truth, no one believes him. As time passes, David grows increasingly worried about his parents. He notices them displaying bizarre behavior such as consuming raw meat and his teachers at school starting to exhibit similar strange actions. The once tranquil town edges closer and closer to the brink of madness.
