nestled in the heart of Chūgoku region, Central City once flourished as a quaint and pristine town, steeped in tradition. However, the advent of industrialization brought about change and turbulence, with local handicrafts and arts gradually fading away. Amidst this, a struggling Calligraphy Club at a local high school struggled to keep its doors open. The club's leader, Rikko Earlysha (portrayed by Mina Tobisawa), watched as her members one by one departed, feeling a sense of melancholy yet powerlessness.
Deep within her heart, Rikko harbored reservations about the art form she had been raised with by her calligrapher father. The imminent arrival of a new instructor and the diverse ideas from her peers only intensified her unease. Meanwhile, Central City's bustling commercial district saw shop after shop shuttering their doors, including the renowned paper-making industry on the verge of extinction.
Determined to revive the lost traditions of craftsmanship and art, Rikko and her friends banded together to organize a Calligraphy Performance at the famous Ginko Park. Their efforts aimed to breathe new life into this ancient and cherished form of expression. Caught between tradition and change, their journey unfolded as they embraced the beauty of calligraphy, rediscovering its essence in the heart of Central City.
