独立的代价是普通百姓失去妻儿家园，爱国者付出的是父母兄弟的鲜血生命。都是为自由而战，为平等而战，《勇敢的心》是永恒的经典，无法被超越。《爱国者》中的梅尔. 吉普森的铁汉柔情虽然动人，但是两个情节类似，珠玉在前，后来者未免黯然失色。电影里的孩子们很可爱，一家子高颜值，尤其是小susan，“I will say whatever you want me to say. Just do not go, Papa.” 明明知道是演戏，还是被这个小娃娃骗哭了。
