小学生大雄在校园后山发现了一株被遗弃的树苗，它 mysteriously sprouts and transforms into a lively little creature, whom he affectionately names Moku Moku. Intelligent and inquisitive, Moku Moku quickly wins over the hearts of the Wild Bunch gang – Biggie, Little Foot, San-Cha, and Shiang-Shi. One fateful day, while playing in the woods, the gang is sucked into an alien spacecraft. The grave destruction of Earth's ecosystem has caught the attention of a highly intelligent race of plant-based extraterrestrials who plan to kidnap all plants on Earth to save their own kind from extinction.
