剧情简介

在 picturesque Suzhou River, auto mechanic Gao Zhihua (Zhang Tielin) and seamstress Qin Nan (Gong Xue) find themselves in desperate circumstances. Out of compassion, Gao lets Qin set up her stall next to his, and over time, their relationship blossoms into something deeper. Gao's mother is delighted by the kind and virtuous Qin Nan, encouraging her son's feelings for her wholeheartedly. However, things take an unexpected turn when it is revealed that Qin has a young son, Dong Dong (Fang Chao), and even more shockingly, she defies societal norms to take him in.
