Fast forward to 1933 Egypt, Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) and Evelyn Carnahan (Rachel Weisz), along with their son Alex (Freddie Boath), return to this land and uncover the bracelet of the once-conquering emperor. Meanwhile, a mysterious organization finds the body of the evil Pharaoh Imhotep, who they seek to revive using the bracelet. A battle between good and evil for the bracelet's possession ensues, forcing the O'Connell family to embark on another supernatural adventure.
