巧立名堂内斗法神功的主持人,祝午郎( interpretatively referred to as the "Masters' Mentor" ), harbors an unyielding faith in martial arts and trains his daughter, the prodigious English Cai (interpretatively named "Hidden Dragon"), in secret as a male disciple. However, English Cai harbors deep affection for her elder brother, Huashan Bao, and frequently expresses her feelings towards him. Unfortunately, Huashan Bao misinterprets these advances as romantic interest due to his confusion.
Living nearby is the vivacious Maria (interpretatively called "the Dance Maven" ), who runs a martial arts school called the Maria Family Taiji Institute. Her spirited nature often leads to clashes with Frauds' father. Maria's Japanese niece, Wakana, returns from Japan and becomes a renowned healthy dance instructor. Eager to learn from her, many of Frauds' disciples run off to Maria's school to study the modernized form of dance. This infuriates Frauds even further.
Wakana encounters harassment by the mischievous Fly Boys upon her return to town. English Cai comes to her aid, and in secret, develops feelings for Wakana. Meanwhile, Huashan Bao also develops affection for Wakana, creating a complex love triangle. English Cai attempts to confess her true identity as Frauds' daughter to Huashan Bao but is met with disapproval from her father, leading to heated arguments.
Feeling betrayed and misunderstood, English Cai decides to leave home. Unbeknownst to her, she encounters a mischievous spirit on the Ghost Festival night and experiences strange, comedic events due to the clash between the spirit's mischief and her human nature.
