在美丽的中原伏牛山地区, among the verdant hills, lies the serene village of Peach Blossom. This idyllic hamlet, nestled between mountains and embraced by rivers, is home to a few humble mountain dwellers, who have lived for generations as herbalists. The arrival of a young blacksmith named Kurobei Yata brings a spark of joy to the lives of these simple yet noble women.
Just as peace reigns in this secluded haven, a band of defeated Japanese soldiers, led by Moriarty, finds itself lost and seeks refuge. Unbeknownst to the villagers, they stumble upon Peach Blossom and shatter its tranquility. The savage warriors ravage the village, desecrating its serenity and violating its virtuous women, including the newlywed Cui'er, who takes her own life rather than dishonor.
The villagers, led by the resilient Xiangzi, resort to using sake to drug the invaders, hoping to find a way to rescue their kin and exact revenge. However, their attempts to deceive the occupiers meet with disdain from fellow villagers, who fail to understand Xiangzi's selfless determination.
As the villagers gradually come to appreciate Xiangzi's grit and sacrifice, they begin to hold her in high esteem. The invaders continue their rampage, taking innocent lives and causing unspeakable pain. But the wronged women, under the guidance of elderly Constable Guichi, fight back against the Japanese oppressors in a brutal display of courage... They protect their dignity using blood and life itself, embodying China's unwavering spirit of fearlessness in the face of brutality, resilience in the face of aggression, and enduring strength.
